This week, we're not doing an interview, but reflecting on our time spent on the podcast. These seven lessons distilled and the biggest takeaways from our eight guests so far.
Lesson three is commit to routines and habits. Not everyone is the same, not everyone's a morning person or a night person. But everyone should have a set of routine and habits they're comfortable with. They act as anchor and help you get grounded for that day.
Routines and habits, when implemented correctly, are the most powerful thing you can do for yourself. What is controllable is order, what is uncontrollable is chaos. I encourage others to bring in as many small routines and habits as possible.
Be curious, right? And then by having those routines and those habits, you practice how to be present. Presence often leads to curiosity. By being curious, we're able to truly, actively listen to what the people have to say.
Presence is something that trickles into the lives of all high performers. Stillness is the key that I mentioned earlier. Benoit and I are actually doing a book review on that at the end of the month. We would encourage all of you to listen to if you're curious about it and or pick up a book.
